Designer Paper Challenge, Fancy Friday Blog Hop

This month's Fancy Friday blog hop is all about pretty designer paper!  Today I'm sharing a sketch that could easily be tweaked to suit any busy pattern in your stash.  It's so simple, quick to put together and versatile!  Just cut a bold butterfly shape from your choice of pattern, add a textured cardstock background in a tone to match, and dress with a little faux stitching, loops of twine and of course a small sentiment of your choice!

Here is a video tutorial so you can make it along with me!  Prefer to view your videos over on YouTube?  Click here (PS, while you are there don't forget to subscribe to my channel to catch other tutorials as they are released!)

  1. You did this paper total justice by keeping everything else super simple and going for texture over embellishing. Such a pretty card!

  2. This DSP was my least favourite out of the catalogue, but you have changed my mind! I love the simplicity of the card, but that DSP adds so much "wow" as a butterfly! I also love how real that faux stitching looks ♥

  3. Gorgeous card Jennifer! The beatuiful CAS look to this card really gives it a classy and classic feel especially with the touches of gold and bling. Just beautiful! Rochelle xo
